A FAIRYTALE EVENT – JULIEN AND SCHERER WEDDING 12/6/08. WALT DISNEY WORLD – GRAND FLORIDIAN HOTEL

A true modern day fairytale unfolded at the Walt Disney World Wedding Pavilion as Christine Julien and Jeremiah Scherer exchanged vows on December 6, 2008. The fairytale began with the princess bride arriving right on time in her horse-drawn landau coach. She was absolutely radiant in her ball gown style wedding dress and was truly a classic vision of a storybook princess. Just moments before the bride made her entrance, the groom and his groomsmen made a very dramatic entrance to “Imperial March” from Star Wars and settled into their places. The three bridesmaids, dressed in strapless apple red long gowns made their entrance and also took their places. Escorted by her grandfather, the doors to the wedding chapel reopened and the bride appeared. Before us stood the most beautiful Disney Princess that I’ve ever seen! The princess bride began her walk to meet her prince to the an appropriately titled entrance song, “Story Book Wedding.” The ceremony was incredibly romantic and joyfully emotional with the bride and groom exchanging personalized vows that they each wrote. The distant image of Cinderella’s Castle stood centered through the stain glass arch behind the couple on the alter. Before we knew it, the Pastor was introducing for them for the first time as Mr. & Mrs. Scherer.

Once outside the wedding pavilion the couple’s guests showered them with beautiful red and white rose petals as the walked over the wedding pavilion bridge. There, at the end of the bridge awaited their fairytale coach & two attendants. The couple were quickly swept away as the guests made their way to the reception which was held at the Walt Disney World’s Grand Floridian Hotel and Resort.

It was truly a magical wedding and reception with all in attendance leaving with beautiful memories of a gala event.

The young couple left the next morning for their honeymoon…can you guess where they might have been heading??? ………………………. Disneyland California, where else!
