USF students…did you know you could get married right on campus?   A beautiful wedding location is tucked away just off the new Marshall Center. Kelly O’Riley and Benjamin Hamilton were married on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 5:00 PM.  Their ceremony was held outdoors in the sunken concert area on the campus of the University of South Florida.  Approximately 75 guests attended and were comfortably seated in white folding chairs facing the stage.  The wedding party entered from the back of the arena through the glass doors of the Marshall Center.  The alter/stage area  was covered by an arbor with hot pink bougainvillea.  The bride and groom exchanged vows  beneath a decorated wedding arch.  Reverend Daniel Lehman of Lealman United Methodist Church officiated the ceremony.  The bridal party attendants were Sarah Hamilton, Kathleen O’Riley, Logan Heddens, Wayne Stephen O’Riley, Hannah and Hailey Greer and Sylas Sullivan escorted by mother Amber Sullivan.  Bride Kelly was radiant and absolutely gorgeous.  Her groom, Benjamin was equally as handsome.  Their reception was also held on campus in the Marshall Center ball room on the upper level.  As a wedding photographer, we get to sample lots of wedding food.  However, I must say, the meal served at Kelly and Benjamin’s wedding was one of the best I’ve ever had!  Catering was provided by Affordable Catering, entertainment A Sunset Entertainment, wedding cake by Cakes Plus.  A grand time was had by all!  To all USF future brides and grooms….don’t overlook what’s in your back yard!  This wedding venue is gorgeous and the photo opportunities on campus, endless!

Black Eyed Susan Photography was thrilled to be a part of Nicole and Michael’s recent beach wedding.  Two friends, two hearts, joined together in friendship united forever in love.  Michael and Rose Sfura and Kellie Smith celebrated the marriage of their daughter and son, Nicole Sfura and Michael Smith on October 24, 2009 at Indian Rocks Beach, 19601 Gulf Boulevard, Indian Rocks, FL.   The reception was held at Holiday Inn Harbourside, Key West Room, 401 2nd Street, Indian Rocks Beach, FL.  A delightful time was had by all!  The Wedding Party:  Kelly Wilson, Patrick Evans, Denyel Sfura, Devin Smith, Jackie Joyner, Kelly Gleaton, Cassie Naylor, Michael Smith, Caleb Naylor, Adam Hartman, Justin Pierce, Jordan Mooney and Hoss the couple’s golden retriever.

Black Eyed Susan Photography will be at the Annual Lakeside Baptism Celebration held by Van Dyke United Methodist Church.  This annual event has proved to be a very blessed and special time for all who attend!  Join us and bring along your favorite snacks and cooler filled with water and sodas. (Please, no alcoholic beverages!)  Enjoy outdoor games together — bring Frisbees, balls, etc.  Invest some time getting to know your Van Dyke Family.  (Don’t forget lawn chairs & if you are going in the water, bring an extra pair of shoes.)
